Angie's Childminding
About Me
Hello, I’m Angie, an Ofsted-registered Childminder based in Elsea Park, Bourne.
I completed my Ofsted childminder registration in May 2019.

I’m Mum to my grown up children: Ethan & Lana. Ethan is teaching Physics at The Norwich School and Lana is in her 3rd year at Newcastle Uni studying Music and hoping to go onto do a Masters in International Business in September.

I'm married to Simon who is a retired secondary Maths teacher. Nanny Sue (my Mum) is a big part of our extended family too and she comes round to play most days.

I have a degree in Social Sciences (predominantly Psychology and Human Behaviour) and have worked as an Education Co-Ordinator for many years, teaching adults with complex special needs. I did this on a part time basis until recently so that I was able to dedicate more quality time to my family.

In more recent years I worked as a Learning Support Assistant for children aged 3 - 11 years. I loved this so much that I decided the time was now right, to become a registered Childminder.

We have a large family home on the edge of Bourne, with plenty of indoor and outdoor space to play (enclosed rear garden). We have a dedicated play room and large kitchen for messy play / cooking activities. We are within walking distance of the Community Centre, numerous small toddler playgrounds and a woodland area for exploring. We access numerous community baby/toddler groups and the local library during the week too.

I aim to provide a homely, high quality service to children and their parents, in order to maximise their pre-five learning experiences.
